too right you havn't. there's no pressure to do so, though, take your time.

fave parts; the contrasts around the head- the dark front of the face vs the white back of head+the background, as well as the black halo.

also the flickering movement in that arm...it's not so much a blur, as a-...welll...wave your fingers between your eyes and your computer screen...like that. really cool.

anyway, catcha.

The um... The picture was too small for me to draw any real definition in the face without it looking messy, and I was trying to use up some of the drawing paper I've accumulated over the years from different people who had no use for it. That stuff erases like a bitch -- in other words, you can't erase from it without destroying the pape and leaving gross ugly marks all over it. So I thought, ehh, too risky for a full face. How about contrast instead?

Once upon a time when I was in gr. 10 I really understood value and how to make a nice contrast without mess. Somewhere along the line I forgot how to do that. SO! I need to re-learn.
